Gallery Show FAQs
Playa Gallery has two main show rooms.
The main gallery is 10' x25' the walls are 12' high, it is lit professionally, by reduced voltage, halogen track lighting.
The hair salon easily converts for receptions, the styling stations are in the middle of the room. This allows for unobstructed views of art displayed throughout the salon on the 12' high, professionally lit, walls..
All types of installation can be accommodated.
Upon acceptance of your work, a reception date, hang date, and removal date of the work, will be agreed upon by both parties, playa gallery and the artist.
There is a fee of $200 to be made payable to Playa Gallery for the installation and reception. This transaction will occur the time of installation.
The artist must submit a photo of the title piece in a timely manner, Playa Gallery will then make the first 100 4"x6" post cards, on photo stock, all other promotional materials will be paid for by the artist, using the artwork supplied by Playa Gallery.
Currently, There is no commission charged on works sold at Playa Gallery, so that you may be free to charge a fair price for your fine art.
The artist will supply the food and beverages to be served at the reception, please no hard alcohol. We have had live entertainment here at the gallery, and it has always been popular.
